Alls offers and services are provided exclusively on the basis of the following terms and conditions of Dresen Live Events Heldt und Heldt GbR (hereafter referred to as "Dresen Events"). This shall also apply to all future transactions, even it they are not expressly agreed upon again. The terms and conditions of the purchaser are not valid insofar as they conflict with the terms and conditions of the seller. Deviations from these terms and conditions are only effective if confirmed in writing by the seller. With the purchase/ booking of tickets for the dance events of Dresen Events, the purchaser expressly agrees to be bound by Dresen Events terms and conditions. This applies to all of the tickets for the dance events of Dresen Events.

organizer

Organizer of the dance events is Dresen Live Events Heldt und Heldt GbR. All claims have to be made against the Dresen Events. These dance events are organized by Dresen Events: D-TOWN SWING in June, Workshopfestival in June, July or August, WCS-Festival in October and OsterSwingDing in March or April. The dance events D-TOWN SWING, Workshopfestival and WCS-Festival will take place at the premises of the Boston Club Düsseldorf, Vennhauser Allee. The dance event OsterSwingDing will take place at the premises of the Tanzschule Dresen, Duisburger Strasse 95 in Düsseldorf.

orders / cancellations / transfers

All orders – whether booking online (internet) or in person at the office in Düsseldorf – are binding and can not be canceled or changed. By ordering through the internet you will find a registration/ booking form, which has to be filled out completely. A refund or cancellation of tickets for good cause is excluded, unless the good cause is a breach of duty of Dresen Events. As a gesture of goodwill we may accept the following: 
ticket cancellation
In case you cancel your ticket, we may have to charge you as follows:
Ticket cancellation for D-TOWN SWING 2024:
If you cancel the ticket before the 1st of February 2024, you will get back 80% of the ticket fee.
If you cancel the ticket between the 1st of Februar  and the 15th of April 2024, you will get back 50% of the payment for the ticket.
In case of a cancellation after the 15th of April 2024, you will not get back any money.
The date we receive your clear written cancellation will be relevant for the fee.
You will be charged with the costs of the transaction.
Ticket cancellation for the WCS-Festival 2024:
If you cancel the ticket before the 15th of April 2024, you will get back 80% of the ticket fee.
If you cancel the ticket between the 15th of April 2024 and the 15th of August 2024, you will get back 50% of the payment for the ticket.
In case of a cancellation after the 15th of August 2024, you will not get back any money.
The date we receive your clear written cancellation will be relevant for the fee.
You will be charged with the costs of the transaction.
Ticket cancellation for the Workshopfestival 2024:
If you cancel the ticket before the 1st of March 2024, you will get back 80% of the ticket fee.
If you cancel the ticket between the 1st of March 2024 and the 1st of June 2024, you will get back 50% of the payment for the ticket.
In case of a cancellation after the 1st of June 2024, you will not get back any money.
The date we receive your clear written cancellation will be relevant for the fee.
You will be charged with the costs of the transaction.
Ticket cancellation for OsterSwingDing 2024:
If you cancel the ticket before the 15th of November 2023, you will get back 80% of the ticket fee.
If you cancel the ticket between the 15th of November 2023 and the 15th of February 2024, you will get back 50% of the payment for the ticket.
In case of a cancellation after the 15th of February 2024, you will not get back any money.
The date we receive your clear written cancellation will be relevant for the fee.
You will be charged with the costs of the transaction.

ticket transfer
For the dance events D-TOWN SWING, WCS-Festival and OsterswingDing you can not change the type of ticket while transferring it to an other person. For example a leader ticket has to be transferred to a leader and a couple ticket has to be transferred to a couple.
The only exeption is a follower ticket, you can transfer it to a leader or a follower.
If there is a difference in the price at the time of the transfer between the paid and the actual price of the ticket, the new ticket owner will be charged with the difference.

payment

All orders for the dance festivals are due and payable within 14 days from date of invoice by bank transfer or payPal to the bank account specified in the order without any deduction. All orders seven days before an dance event are due and and payable immediately; if the payment is not being transferred to the account of Dresen Events until three days before the dance event, it has to be made in cash on-site on the day of the event. In case of double payment Dresen Events will pay back the overpaid amount immediately. Admission tickets will only become valid once full payment has been made within the payment deadline. Please note that all costs arising from transfers from abroad shall be borne by the purchaser.

collection, use

All tickets for the dance events are generally issued directly upon check-in: For the dance events D-TOWN SWING, Workshopfestival and WCS Festival the check-in is in the Boston Club in Düsseldorf. The check-In for the dance event OsterSwingDing is in the Tanzschule Dresen in Düsseldorf. Any remaining tickets can be purchased on-site up to half an hour before the entry starts all day. Tickets with additional VIP-food or buffet tickets are excluded. Dresen Events does not accept any liability for lost tickets. Free replacement tickets can not be provided. Claims for damages arising from or in connection with lost tickets are therefore excluded. Admission authorizations (tickets) may not be improperly used, copied or changed in any way. By using the admission tickets the user automatically accepts the house rules of the venues of the dance events: The Boston Club and the Tanzschule Dresen in Düsseldorf. Tickets will be issued in the form of control wristbands and tickets. On that day before attending a festival offer, such as workshops etc., these wristbands have to be mounted at the wrist in a way, that they can not be pulled over the palm. They have to be worn throughout the event and may not be removed. Once a wristband is removed, cut or changed/ damaged otherwise in its substance, it loses its validity. Free replacement wristbands can not be provided.

cancellations, changes, repayments

In the case of cancellation of the festival purchased tickets can be refunded on the way in which they were purchased until the expiration of two months after the scheduled event date. Changes of performing cast or programme content (dancing teachers, workshops, shows, etc.) are expressly reserved and do not entitle to claim compensation or to withdrawal. In the case of cancellation, rescheduling, programme or cast changes no expenses (e.g. travel, hotel, advance sales or handling charges) will be replaced. A cancellation / restriction of the festival due to force majeure, labor disputes, governmental actions and involuntary malfunctions does not entitle to reimbursement of effected payments. In this case Dresen Events is not obliged to any repayment.

liability

The applicant / participant attends the workshops and parties at the event at their own risk. Dresen Events is liable for personal injury only in the case of at least negligent causation, for any other (especially financial) losses, Dresen Events is only liable for at least grossly negligent causation. Caused by his agents Dresen Events shall also be liable for damages that are not personal injuries only in case of intent and gross negligence. For teaching content we do not grant teaching success.

film and photo shoots / copyright

Dresen Events points out that, within the dance events photographs will be taken, live video will be broadcasted and films will be shot and that the film and photographies of all persons present (festival participants, visitors, artists, etc.) as well as excerpts, compilations, etc. may be published. At the same time, film and photographies will also be used for promotional and advertising purposes (e.g. website, leaflets, press releases, TV and cinema spot, etc.) for these and other events of the organizer. By registering for the dance events, the customer expressly consents to the recording and use of any photos or films of himself/herself without compensation. Only festival visitors in possession of the optional film and photo license which may be booked additionally are allowed to take their own pictures and make their own films during the workshops. Filming and photographing during the shows is not permitted. Furthermore during the workshops filming or photographing is only permitted during the last 5 minutes of a workshop. In case of infringement a fee of 250,- Euro will be charged. Illegally produced film and photo material has to be delivered to Dresen Events on demand without substitution. In case of repeated violation, the visitor may be excluded from the dance event. All rights of use of film and photo material remain with Dresen Events or previous rights owners.

other

Smoking is not permitted in the event locations during the workshops. The contractual relationship is governed by German law for both parties. If the purchaser is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in close connection with the contractual relationship shall be Düsseldorf. Should one or several of the provisions be invalid this shall not affect the other provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one which best achieves the pursued economic purposes.
